After checking to see if you have Pressure or Fluid flow from cooler line, unbolt the Torque Converter and see if you can slide it back into the Trans. 1/8" to 3/16" gap between TC & Flexplate is normal. Jun 07, 2014 · So i had a burnt up E4OD transmission in my 97 OBS, I pulled it and took it in and had it rebuilt. I reinstalled it and now i start my pickup and it wont go into any gear! any ideas? If the fluid is any color other than RED, then you need to change it. It MIGHT start working, might not. Check the electrical pug on the P/S of the tranny. Remove the heat shield and then disconnect the plug. Inspect for dirty or corroded or missing pins.
